YuMi is a pretty interesting line of robots. These collaborative robots are designed to be safe around people. YuMi has 7 degrees of freedom arms for a 14-axis robotic system with a great deal of flexibility of movement. In this video, this robot is used to solve a Rubik’s Cube.

The robot uses a camera to identify the position and orientation of the cube on the table. It then picks it up and uses a program to come up with a solution for the puzzle. YuMi executes the moves flawlessly. Pretty impressive, don’t you think?
