Turtle-inspired Amphibious Spherical Robot by Beijing Institute of Technology Researchers

Engineers are always inspired by nature to improve their designs. Researchers from Beijing Institute of Technology have come up with a turtle inspired amphibious spherical robot that can crawl on asphalt ground or bottom of the pool.

The robot also features depth and yaw control. The above video shows it in action.
