Robots will do many gardening tasks for us in the future. They can already mow our lawn and take care of our plants. The TrimBot is an interesting project that involves developing a vision-controlled robot for autonomous trimming of gardens.
The robot navigates varying terrain, approaches rose bushes and boxwood topiary and trims them. The platform is based on the Bosch Indego robot lawnmower with 5 pairs of stereo cameras for 360-degree view.
