Millirobots are robots about as wide as a finger that could deliver drugs or perform minimally invasive surgeries in the future. Researchers reporting in ACS Applied Polymer Materials have developed a soft, biodegradable magnetic millirobot that can walk and grab like an insect.
As the researchers explain, these robots are made with a magnetic gelatin hydrogel. They have an insect claw-like legged structure.
