Meet the Stretch robot: a programmable home assistant robot that can take on a wide variety of tasks, including cleaning and laundry. The Stretch RE1 comes with a gripper, computer, sensors, and everything you need to get started. It interfaces with Python and supports ROS.Â
Stretch has an Intel RealSense D435i RGB-D camera, torque sensing joints, IMUs and an accelerometer to detect bumps, and a RP-LiDAR A1 laser range finder. It has a microphone array in the head for speech recognition. It measures 34cm wide and 33cm long.
