Meet the SoftHand 2.5: a soft robot anthropomorphic hand that can grasp objects in different shapes. It has a single motor to move the fingers and control synergies. Researchers at IIT in Genova and UniversitĂ di Pisa are behind this promising robotic hand.
These robotic hands are being developed for upper limb amputees. The project is receiving funding by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme.
