This is the SnapSync Band-1: an open source smartwatch that lets you control smart home devices with hand gestures. It doubles as a health tracker. This gadget can detect your exercises and track your sleep. Its app comes integrated with Google Home, HomeKit, and IFTTT.
The Band-1 has a 6-axis accelerometer and an onboard piezo sensor for gesture detection. It has an easily repairable design. It is open sourced and will have a public API. As the above GIF shows, you can use this gadget to control a drone.
