Robots are going to sow our shirts, prepare our food, and do many other tasks for us. Traditionally, robots have had trouble handling flexible fabrics. Sewbo got around that by temporarily stiffening fabrics. An off-the-shelf industrial robot was used to operate a sewing machine.
