Here is a robotic fish that is powered by its own artificial circulatory system. Cornell University were inspired by a lionfish to build this robot. It can achieve a upstream speed of 15cm per minute. It has its own pectoral fins and is powered by a system of two electrodes and liquid electrolyte that flows between them.
