In the past few years, we have covered a whole host of amazing applications for KUKA robots. This latest video shows how its products can be used to 3D print with lasers and molten metal. Midwest Engineered Systems, a KUKA partner, has come up with a way to print with metal using wire.
The solution can put down metal up to 20 pounds an hour to build large parts. The material is added up in a welded platform to create components from scratch. The above video shows how it all works.
