Drilling a hole on a curved surface at different angles manually can be challenging. Alireza Madani, Pouya P Niaz, Berk Guler, Yusuf Aydin, and Cagatay Basdogan are a team of talented researchers who used a KUKA LBR iiwa 7 cobot to assist with the process. The operator can manipulate a drill mounted on the robot with one hand with haptic guidance of the cobot and visual guidance provided through an AR interface.
