Meet the ReHand robotic exoskeleton: an innovative solution for rehab designed and manufactured at the Italian Institute of Technology. This wearable solution can be worn like a glove and provides assistance when moving fingers. ReHand uses bioelectric signals read directly from the user’s muscles.

The EMG engineers of the Center for Sustainable Futures developed an algorithm to understand the intention of the patient to open or close hands and send signals to the engine of the device. ReHand currently weighs 650 grams.
