Here is an agile robot dog that runs through a sandy beach at 3 meters per second. Developed by Professor Hwangbo Jemin of the KAIST Department of Mechanical Engineering, this quadruped robot can move over deformable terrain. It relies on a neural network that enables it to adapt to different surfaces without prior information.
