Researchers are always looking for new ways to test their robots. As Zhejiang University researchers demonstrate in this video, a trampoline can be used to test a quadruped robot with stiff legs performing jumps. The robot keeps its balance with foot-end position adjustments.

The researchers used IMU and tactile switches to estimate the robot state. Looks promising, don’t you think?
