Open Bionics is working on using 3D printed components in its prosthetic limbs to make them accessible to more people. These 3D printed bionic limbs are controlled using muscle sensors on your arm. As you flex your muscles, the hand moves. Each finger can be moved independently with varying speed.

As more parts are 3D printed, total cost drops even further. These 3D printed hands hands are made of rigid and flexible materials. They cost $1200, which is much lower than other advanced prosthesis on the market.
