In the past few months, we have covered plenty of artificial muscles that allow robots more natural movements. Suzumori Endo Lab, Tokyo Institute of Technology has developed pneumatic artificial muscles to mimic the human neck. Researchers tried to mimic bones, ligaments, and muscles in the neck area.
As you can see in the above video, the motions are similar to those of the human neck.
