Programming robots is not always straight forward. The good news is researchers are now developing sophisticated solutions to control robots with gestures and brainwaves. MIT researchers have developed a system that can detect in real-time if a person notices an error by a robot doing a task. The person can use gestures to scroll through and select the correct option for the robot to execute.
For this project, a Baxter robot is used. As the researchers explain:
With human supervision, the robot went from choosing the correct target 70 percent of the time to more than 97 percent of the time.
