Meet Mimus: a giant industrial robot that uses sensors to see everyone around and react to follow your actions. As Madeline, the robot tamer, suggests, the goal is to make it easier for people who may not be familiar with robots to interact with them in an intuitive fashion.

Sensors were used in the ceiling above to enable the robot to see everyone and try to understand their body language. According to Pier 9, Mimus will be on exhibit at the opening of The Design Museum in London on November 24th, 2016.
