It is no secret that certain insects work in groups to pull heavy things around. The same idea can be used to allow microrobots to work together to accomplish complex tasks. Researchers at Stanford University are exploring this idea. They have used used 6 microrobots, weighing 100 grams, to pull a 3900 lb car.
