In the past few years, we have covered a whole host of quadruped robots that can overcome rough terrain. This one can actually climb on metal buildings and structures. Researchers at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology & University of Illinois developed it with magnetized feet.
Must see robots & drones:
Quadruped robot with magnetized feet can climb on metal buildings and structures
This robot uses magnetic elastomers and electro magnets. It can take steps when the magnetism is turned on/off. It can climb metal walls and walk across ceilings.
