Here is a robot designed to navigate in GPS & vision-denied environments. LION (LiDAR-Inertial Observability-Aware Navigator) combines high-frequency inertial data from an IMU and low-rate relative pose estimates from a LiDAR to provide high-rate odometry estimates.
