Mercury Humanoid Robot Family Unveiled

0

Elephant Robotics is behind some of the coolest robots we have covered. It has now introduced a family of humanoid robots for personal and commercial tasks. The Mercury A1 is a 7DOD robotic arm powered by CM4Stack control and myPanel OS. The B1 is a semi-humanoid with 17DOF and two x A1 robotic arms. It is powered by a NVIDIA Xavier chip. It has a 9-inch touchscreen display.

3D Concrete Printing with KUKA Robots

0

Concrete printing robots are nothing new. We have covered a bunch of them that can be used to erect buildings fast. KUKA’s robots can be used for 3D print of any custom design in concrete. Print 4D is using one with max payload of 210kg and max reach of 3.1m.

Unitree B2 Jumping Running Robot Debuts

0

Meet the Unitree B2: an industrial jumping and running robot dog that can operate in complex environments. It has max load capacity of 120kg while standing. Its continuous walking load is more than 40kg. This robot uses LiDAR, depth, and optical cameras to perceive its surroundings.

BrainRobotics Bionic Hand with App

0

In the past few years, we have covered plenty of amazing prosthetic robots here. The BrainRobotics Bionic Hand is also worth a look. It is a robotic hand with 10 freely movable joints and powered thumb that allows for 14 grips. It has buzz and vibrate functions. It also has a quick wrist disconnect design.

Alter3 GPT-4 Enhanced Humanoid Robot

0

GPT 4 shouldn’t need any introduction. Plenty of people are using it to do work and improve their products. A bunch of robots are also using it to act smarter. Take Alter3 for instance: it is a humanoid robot that generates spontaneous motion with GPT-4. This approach allows the robot to do various poses. It can generate actions without direct programming for each body part.

Qlayers 10Q Mobile Coating Robot

0

Meet the Qlayers 10Q Mobile Coating Robot: a robotic system that lets you use 50% less weight while allowing humans to work on less dangerous tasks. The 10Q paint robot has a Graco plural sprayer. It comes with a robotic painting head with gun. The below video shows this robot in action:

PAL Robotics’ Kangaroo Agile Walking Robot

0

This is PAL Robotics’ Kangaroo robot: a bipedal robot for research that can perform jumps and runs with agility. Each leg has 6 DoF, weighing 12.5kg. Kangaroo has custom linear actuators with integrated force sensors. It stands 1.45m tall. The below video shows this robot in action:

Robot vacuums are getting smarter and more powerful all the time. The Ultenic MC1 Siri/Alexa Compatible Robot Vacuum & Mop comes with everything you need to keep your floors clean. It has 5000Pa suction power and can pick up crumbs, hair and dust on hard floors and carpets.

WheelTech Z100 Max 24-inch Unmanned Bicycle Robot

0

This is the WheelTech Z100 Max: an unmanned bicycle robot that can keep its balance without human intervention. It has a max speed of 1.9m/s. It has a 24-inch diameter wheel. It is powered by a STM32F407VET6 chip. This robot runs on 2 MD36N motors.

The Simplest Walking Robot?

0

Here is one of the simplest walking robots we have seen. It has one actuator and two rigid bodies. The robot is inspired by passive dynamic walkers. Here is how it works: the robot lifts its leg forward, which shifts its center of gravity so it falls onto its front foot. That creates clearance for the next leg to swing through.
