Robots are already assisting surgeons in simple and complex operations. Recently, 6 patients had eye surgery done on them by robots at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. According to the researchers, robots are capable of performing complex procedures with even greater precision.

The idea here was not to show robots are superior to humans but to show how they can get the job done safely.
