Kinova JACO 6DOF Robotic Arm Handling a 3DR Solo Drone

In the past few years, we have covered plenty of ways robots can handle tough and fragile items. This video shows how a Kinova JACO 6DOF robotic arm can be used to manipulate a 3DR Solo drone. It can pick the UAV up and move it onto a desk in a gentle fashion.

This robotic arm has torque, position, current, temperature and acceleration sensors in each actuator. It has a carbon fiber structure and supports ROS. Has a max payload of 2.6kg.
