JTARV: Army’s Hoverbike to Bring Soldiers Supplies

Here is a hoverbike army is testing to explore the idea of using giant drones to bring supplies to soldiers in less than 30 minutes. JTARV is a prototype rectangular-shaped quadcopter with an electric propulsion system. It is expected to get a hybrid one with a range of up to 125 miles and payload capacity of 800 pounds.

Such an aerial vehicle will in the future fly low to the ground or at thousands of feet at speeds of 60 miles per hour.  The U.S. Army Research Laboratory has more information on this hoverbike here.
