JACO Assistive Robotic Arm Feeding People with Limited Upper Limb Mobility

Robots are going to make it easier for people with limited mobility to live independently. The JACO Assistive Robotic Arm can do most things a human arm can do. It can assist people with limited or no upper limb mobility with eating. This robotic arm has max payload of 3.5lbs. It has max reach of 2.95ft.

Thanks to JACO, patients can open doors, have a drink, eat, brush their teeth, and a lot more. It has programmable safe zones and an optional OLED display for visual feedback. It has a carbon fiber and aluminum construction.
