Here is a robotic hip exoskeleton that provides wearers assistance with movement. Developed by the Human Robot Systems Laboratory (HRSL), this exoskeleton weighs only 3kg. It is worn around the waist and fastened to the thighs. It has 2 actuators with a brushless DC motor each.
As the researchers explain, this robotic system has 3D printed parts. It can adjust to different hip sizes.
