Festo is behind some of the most awesome robots we have seen. Its SupraDrive 2.0 and SupraMultitool concepts are also worth a look. It is all about using superconductors for automation. SupraMotion 3.0 relies on high-temperature superconductors made of ceramic material. Their transition temperature is around -180C. They can be used to make automation more efficient.
