Landing drones on steep surfaces at a fast speed can be a challenge. The Createk Engineering Lab researchers have come up with a landing technology that enables drones to land on steep surfaces up to 60 degrees at speeds up to 2.75 m/s. It uses friction shock absorbers and reverse thrust to allow landings on difficult surfaces.
