This is the Eva Exoskeleton: a powered lower body exoskeleton by IHMC that augments user motion. It can assist users through their natural range of motion. It uses brushless DC motors to drive hips and knees. The backpack enables operation on battery. Eva has adjustable thighs, depth, torso brace, and other parts.
The team’s focus now is to augment the performance of workers in hazardous environments. The above video shows it in action.
