Drones may be used in the future for advertising. Take Docomo’s Spherical Drone Display. It is an unmanned aerial vehicle with a spherical display to show images. It has an internal LED frame with a series of 8 curved strips. A drone is fitted inside the spherical frame with legs protruding underneath.

The drone is highly maneuverable and can be operated in concert hall and arenas. It display measures 144 pixels (h) x 136 pixels (w). DOCOMO plans to commercialize this by March 2019.
