In the past few years, we have seen plenty of cool robot dogs. The ChiTu Quadruped Robot is also worth a look. It is a 12DOF robot with powerful hobbyist servo motors and uses a Raspberry Pi 4B as its brain. The below video shows it moving on a desk.
