Here is a team of robots designed to perform tasks on the lunar surface. The FZI Research Center for Information Technology used a team of Spot, ANYmal, and Husky to analyze the ground and rocks to find potential resources like Titanium. This was all part of the ESA-ESRIC Space Resources Challenge 2022.

These robots scanned and mapped their environment, found rocks to be analyzed while Husky used a x-ray spectrometer, a grinder and a high-resolution camera to perform detailed analysis. ROS based software were used for navigation and 3D math planning.
