The idea of robots using cameras is nothing new. We have covered a few of them in the past. Atlas is one of the most dynamic humanoid robots ever made. It has depth sensors to perceive its surroundings. It also has advanced control algorithms to perform complex whole body movements. As this video from WPP shows, this robot can handle a filmmaking rig with a gimbal and camera.
This robot can handle heavy items (20kg) and hold them at awkward angles. It can be used to survey new areas and capture video in environments that can be dangerous to humans.
