Boston Dynamics is behind many exciting robots. The new Atlas is quite special though. It can operate indoors and outside. This electrically powered and hydraulically actuated robot has sensors in its legs and body to stay balanced. With LIDAR and stereo sensors in its head, the robot can avoid obstacles, assess the terrain, and manipulate objects.
