Many of us have used drones for aerial cinematography and photography in the past. MIT’s new system enables camera-equipped drones to maintain framing of an aerial shot with dynamic obstacle avoidance. A directory can specify a shot’s framing and the autonomous drone will preserve that as the subjects move.
