Robots are already being used for order fulfillment. Grocery items and other fragile products need special grippers for robots to handle them safely. This video from MIT SCAIL shows a soft robotic system for delicate grocery packing. This robotic hand combines vision, motor-based proprioception, and soft tactile sensors to identify, sort, and pack unknown objects.
