5-fingered Robot Hand with Self-learning

Here is a 5-fingered robot hand that can learn on its own to perform dexterous manipulation. A University of Washington team of computer scientists and engineers built this robot not to need humans for direction. The robot uses machine learning to become more adept at getting its tasks done.

This robot hand uses a Shadow Hand skeleton actuated with a custom pneumatic system. It can move faster than a human hand. More information is available here.
