US San Diego’s Robotic Insects for Studying Nature

While scientists have learned a lot about nature over the past few centuries, there is still a lot to learn. US San Diego researchers have built robotic insects to understand how insects evolved two distinct flight strategies. They built them with motors that could combine synchronous and asynchronous flight.

Thanks to research like this, researchers can design better winged bots.
