Meet the AmphiSAW: an amphibious robot inspired by nature that can swim among fish without intimidating them. Developed at the Bioinspired and Medical Robotics Lab at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev by Omer Guetta, Dan Shachaf, Rotem Katz and David Zarrouk, this robot can be used in flooded disaster zones for search and rescue missions. It can also be used to monitor the environment.
