Here is another robot inspired by nature that can monitor its environment and collect valuable data. Georgia Tech’s Solar Powered SlothBot spent month in the wild but was recently removed from the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

The SlothBot is installed 50ft above the ground on a 100ft cable. The above video shows it in action. Georgia Tech researchers are already working on a new version that is smaller and more nimble.
