Operating drones can be fun as long as you can avoid obstacles. UAVs of the future will be even smarter when it comes to obstacle avoidance. Researchers from MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) have demonstrated software that allows drones to stop on a dime and move over, under, and around obstacles.
