Honda’s E2-DR Disaster Response Robot

Here is a robot from Honda that can climb a ladder, go up and down the stairs, and perform other tasks in environments dangerous to humans. The E2-DR robot can navigate narrow spaces, move over pipes, perceive its environment to plan, and survive dangerous environments.

The robot stands 1.68meters high, weighing 85kg. It has a 1000-Wh battery that lasts up to 90 minutes. E2-DR has 33 degrees of freedom (8DOF for each arm). It can rotate its torso 180 degrees too.
