Soft robots become more sophisticated all the time. Researchers from the Wyss Institute and Harvard SEAS have developed a platform for 3D printed soft robots with embedded sensors that can feel touch, pressure, motion, and temperature.

Researchers used multimaterial 3D printing tech to integrate conductive ionic ink into the actuator. Sensors are embedded at different depths to allow the actuators to feel soft and deep pressure.
